Creating this sweet big-girl room for my niece has been such a special project. We gave the room a fresh new wall color, added wallpaper, and finished it with the sweetest bedding layers from @thecompanystore.
One of my favorite things about decorating spaces for kids is knowing they’ll grow up surrounded by beauty, color, and little details that make them feel loved. I hope this becomes a room full of happy memories, story times, and all the magic that comes with being little.
It’s been so sweet watching her grow, and even sweeter being able to create this space just for her 🤍

Did you know you can just…make a custom window seat cushion!
I’ve been making cushions like this for years and they’re so easy. I honestly think you could make an adorable headboard the same way too, just make a larger rectangle based on your bed size and hang it with a French cleat or a couple of hooks on the back.
I like using 2” high-density foam because it’s the perfect thickness and surprisingly comfortable to sit on.
Now my niece has the cutest little window seat in her room 🤍
