5 midsize WFH outfit ideas for early fall.

This week's work-from-home wardrobe is all about easy layers, comfortable trousers, rich fall colors, and pieces that make me feel pulled together without sacrificing the comfort I want when I'm sitting at my desk all day.

Monday starts with black trousers + a soft blue cardigan, Tuesday brings in evergreen wide-leg pants, Wednesday is an ivory + olive + navy combination, Thursday is all about layering, and Friday finishes the week with a belted cardigan + scarf.

You'll also see the same accessories throughout the week: Kate Spade studs, my PAVOI tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, adidas sneakers, and cozy slippers. Repeating the finishing pieces makes getting dressed SO much easier.

These are realistic, midsize-friendly WFH outfits for corporate women who want to be comfortable at home while still feeling ready for meetings, errands, or the occasional office day.

Three Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm shades currently in my rotation: Pink Sugar, Toasted Marshmallow, and Hot Cocoa. 🤎💗

Pink Sugar is the easy everyday option—a sheer light pink that works with basically any makeup look.

Then we have the cozy shades: Toasted Marshmallow, with its subtle golden shimmer, and Hot Cocoa, a sheer warm chocolate that’s perfect as we head into fall and the holiday season.

And here’s your little beauty PSA: Toasted Marshmallow and Hot Cocoa were limited-edition holiday shades, but I’ve still spotted them online at Kohl’s. 👀

If you missed them the first time around, it might be worth checking before they’re gone.

Recent Target finds

Apparently this Target trip had a theme: things I didn’t necessarily go in looking for but immediately decided I needed.

A few recent finds:

• Room Essentials squeezable crushed ice molds
• Room Essentials silicone ice cube tray with lid
• Room Essentials crushed ice tray with lid
• Room Essentials silicone freezer mold with lid
• Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Room Freshener in Peony
• Good & Gather Organic Triple Berry Blend Fruit Spread

Clearly I’m having a moment with ice molds. Between regular cubes, crushed ice, and freezer prep, I love finding inexpensive little kitchen upgrades that make everyday things more convenient.

Then there’s the Peony room spray for making the house smell good and the Triple Berry fruit spread for toast, PB&Js, breakfast, and whatever else I decide needs berries.

A completely random Target haul—and somehow those are always the best ones.

Meet my latest everyday bag obsession: the BAGGU Medium Nylon Crescent Bag in Caper.

I love an accessory that adds a little color while still functioning like a neutral, and this earthy green is SO good for transitioning from summer into fall.

The medium size gives you room for more than just the basics, while the crescent shape and adjustable strap make it an easy hands-free option for errands, shopping, travel days, and everyday life.

I can already see Caper working with denim, black, cream, navy, burgundy, and all the cozy neutrals heading into fall.

Thursday’s dress code: elevated sweats. 💙

I’m wearing the Old Navy Bounce Fleece Half-Zip Pullover + High-Waisted Bounce Fleece Joggers in In The Navy with a white heavyweight crew-neck tee underneath.

The matching navy pieces keep the outfit cohesive, while the white tee and blush pink Amazon bandana add enough contrast to make a sweatsuit feel intentionally styled.

Kate Spade studs, a tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers finish this comfortable midsize WFH outfit.

Proof that your work-from-home wardrobe can absolutely include sweatpants.

Save this for your next cozy workday.

A little leopard print for Wednesday. 🤎

Today’s midsize WFH outfit pairs my Amazon flowy wide-leg trousers in leopard print with an Amazon cropped chambray shirt and the Nine West Button Front Crewneck Sweater in Mineral Black from Kohl’s.

The cropped chambray works especially well with the volume of the wide-leg trousers, while the black cardigan gives me an extra layer when the AC inevitably wins.

Simple Kate Spade studs, a tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers keep everything else easy.

Save this one if you need another way to work leopard print into your everyday wardrobe.

Tuesday’s midsize WFH outfit is built around a classic combination: white tee + cardigan + trousers.

I’m wearing the Old Navy Heavyweight Crew-Neck T-Shirt in Calla Lillies with the Nine West Button Front Crewneck Sweater in Gateway Green and FLX Pull-On Tricot Trousers in Navy from @Kohl's.

I especially love a pull-on trouser for WFH because you get the polished look of work pants with significantly more comfort for sitting at a desk.

Kate Spade studs, my Amazon tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers finish the look.

POV: you want fall nails, but you’re not quite ready to give up your summer colors yet.

That was exactly where I was when it came time to pick this month’s manicure.

I went with SNS X Dark Pink on my usual almond-shaped nails, and it ended up being exactly the transitional nail color I was looking for. It’s a rich, saturated pink that still feels bright enough for the end of summer, but the deeper tone gives it just enough of a fall feel.

Basically, it’s for anyone who isn’t ready to go burgundy, brown, or vampy just yet.

And I liked this manicure color SO much that I wanted something similar on my toes. I ended up finding OPI Aurora Berry-Allis for my at-home pedicure. It’s not an exact shade match, but it’s a really pretty close alternative if you want the same dark pink color story in a traditional polish.

My almond dip manicure was done at my go-to Milwaukee nail spot, Nail Bar MKE.

If you’re currently trying to figure out what color to get for that weird little summer-to-fall transition, consider this your nail inspo.

Save this for later so you have the shade name ready at your next nail appointment.

Monday’s WFH outfit, in real life. 🤎

I’m officially making the case for dark olive trousers as a neutral. The Hearthwood color of these Old Navy SleekTech trousers works with so much in my closet, but feels a little more interesting than reaching for black again.

Today I paired them with the puff-sleeve chambray top from Sonoma at @Kohl's. I love that the sleeves give a classic chambray shirt a little something extra while still keeping the entire outfit easy enough for a day at home.

Simple pearl studs, my everyday tennis bracelet, Apple Watch band from @amazonfindsandfashion, and @adidas sneakers finished it off.

Midsize WFH outfit verdict: comfortable enough for my desk, but absolutely pulled together enough to leave the house without changing.

I’m pairing the Sonoma Goods For Life Puff Sleeve Button Front Top in Rinse Wash from Kohl’s with Old Navy High-Waisted SleekTech Trouser Pants in Hearthwood, a darker olive green that’s such an easy alternative to basic black trousers.

The puff-sleeve chambray adds a little detail, while the trousers keep everything comfortable and workday-ready. I’m finishing the outfit with pearl studs, my Amazon tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers.

5 midsize WFH outfits to get you through Monday-Friday without sacrificing comfort. 💻

My WFH outfit philosophy continues to be pretty simple: I want to be comfortable enough to sit at my desk all day, but getting dressed and adding a few accessories makes me feel SO much more put together.

This week's lineup:

Monday: Chambray + dark olive trousers. An easy combination that feels polished without being overly office-y.

Tuesday: Navy trousers, a white heavyweight tee, and a green cardigan. Basically a classic workwear formula made WFH-friendly.

Wednesday: Leopard wide-leg trousers + cropped chambray + a black cardigan. A little print for the middle of the week.

Thursday: We have entered matching sweatsuit territory (and I fully support it). Navy joggers + a half-zip with a white tee underneath, then a blush bandana to make everything feel a little more styled.

Friday: A gray ribbed midi dress + navy cardigan. One-piece dressing is exactly the amount of effort I want to put in by Friday.

And I'm repeating simple jewelry, my Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers all week because having a few go-to accessories makes getting dressed significantly easier.

These are realistic midsize work-from-home outfits that can also handle errands, appointments, coffee runs, and casual plans without requiring an outfit change.

Save this for later when you need a week's worth of WFH outfit ideas.

Today’s WFH outfit is great for those who are ready for fall to arrive.

What I’m wearing:
Amazon Basics denim shirt
Amazon wide leg pants (blackish green)
Rothy’s flats
Pavoi earrings and tennis bracelet

What I’m listening to: Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun.

Because apparently the right outfit and the right playlist can completely change the workday.

This monochromatic midsize WFH outfit starts with the Abercrombie & Fitch Modal-Blend Lounge Rib Baby Tee + Lounge Ribbed Wide Leg Sweatpants in Cool Navy. I'm layering the Old Navy SoSoft Cropped Crew-Neck Cardigan in In the Navy over the top for a little extra warmth and structure.

It's basically my ideal Friday formula: matching ribbed separates that feel like loungewear but still make me feel like I actually got dressed for work.
Add simple Kate Spade studs, a tennis bracelet, Apple Watch and adidas sneakers and I'm comfortable enough for a full day at my desk but still ready for whatever comes after 5.

Save this one for the next Friday when you want to wear sweats but still feel put together.

Midweek calls for a little print. 🤎

This midsize WFH outfit starts with my Amazon flowy wide-leg trousers in Leopard Coffee, paired with an Old Navy Vintage Crew-Neck T-Shirt in White Lies and the Nine West Button Front Crewneck Sweater in Mineral Black from Kohl's.

Then I'm adding a burgundy bandana for a little extra color and personality. It's such an easy way to make a tee + cardigan combination feel more intentional without making the outfit less comfortable.

Finishing everything with my usual simple jewelry, Apple Watch, and adidas sneakers.

Comfortable enough for WFH, but definitely not an outfit I'd mind being seen in outside the house.

Save this for a comfortable work outfit with a little more personality.

This WFH outfit is proof that comfortable wide-leg pants can absolutely look polished. 💻

I'm pairing an Amazon cropped chambray shirt with flowy wide-leg trousers in Blackish Green. I love this combination because the shorter chambray balances the volume of the wide-leg pants without needing a tuck — and the entire outfit is comfortable enough for sitting at my desk all day.
Keeping the accessories simple with Kate Spade studs, a tennis bracelet, Apple Watch and my favorite adidas sneakers.

This is exactly the kind of midsize WFH outfit I want in my rotation: comfortable at home, video-call appropriate and ready for errands or lunch without changing.

Save this one if you need another way to style wide-leg trousers.

I can wear the sweater buttoned up when I need another layer or drape it over my shoulders for an easy, polished finishing touch.

Adding my everyday Kate Spade studs, tennis bracelet, Apple Watch, faux leather headband and adidas sneakers to finish the look.

Perfect for a WFH Monday, video calls, errands, or one of those days when you need to leave the house but still want to be comfortable.

Apparently August needed a bright pink nail moment. 💗

For this month's dip manicure, I went with DND DC Dip Powder in Pink Lemonade #004 on my usual almond-shaped nails, and this might be one of those colors that looks even better once it's actually on your nails.

It's bright, playful and definitely makes a statement, but it still feels incredibly wearable. I also think it's such a good color for this weird little stretch of the year where we're still very much in summer, but everyone is already starting to talk about fall. I'm not quite ready to give up my summer colors yet.

My manicure was done at my go-to local spot, Nail Bar MKE in Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood. If you're local, they've been behind so many of the nail colors you've seen me share.

And if you're someone who gets to your nail appointment and suddenly forgets every color you've ever liked, save this post for later and ask for DND Pink Lemonade #004.

#LTKdayinmylife #LTKBeauty

Planner girlies, this one caught my attention immediately. 💗

The Zebra Mildliner Stamp + Dot Set in Cotton Candy combines those soft Mildliner colors I already love with dot and stamp tips that make it even easier to color-code, organize, and add a little personality to planner pages.

The pink-to-purple Cotton Candy palette might be my favorite part. Perfect for my work planner, content planning, notes, and all the little lists that somehow keep my life together.

If you love keeping your desk/bag (and your brain) organized, this little Amazon find has been surprisingly helpful.

These A6 Mesh Zipper Pouches are the perfect “pouch inside a pouch” solution. Instead of digging through one giant pencil case, I grouped everything by category:

💙 Cool-toned highlighters
🩷 Warm-toned highlighters
✍️ Erasable pens
🖍️ Felt-tip pens

Now I can grab exactly what I need without making a mess of everything else. They’re also great for planners, travel, tech accessories, beauty products, or anything else that tends to disappear into the bottom of a larger bag.

It’s one of those simple organization upgrades that’s made my work-from-home setup feel so much more functional.

Have you tried the “pouch inside a pouch” method yet?

Did you know you can shop Vera Bradley Outlet right on Target's website and in the Target app?

I recently discovered this and immediately started browsing. If you're already placing a Target order, it's such an easy way to pick up Vera Bradley travel accessories without making another stop.

There are so many great travel and organization pieces, and I already have a few favorites on my wishlist (starting with the Peacoat collection).

#LTKgrwm #LTKHome #LTKTravel

One of those makeup staples that's earned a permanent spot in my routine. ✨

The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil is creamy, easy to blend, and once it sets, it stays put. Whether I'm creating a soft everyday look or adding a little more definition for date night, this eyeliner always delivers.

If you're looking for a waterproof eyeliner that glides on effortlessly and wears beautifully throughout the day, this one is absolutely worth checking out.

#LTKgrwm #LTKBeauty

This is exactly the kind of dress I love having in my closet. The All in Motion Woven Travel Dress from Target is one of those throw-on-and-go pieces that can take you from sightseeing on vacation to running errands or grabbing lunch with friends.

I especially love that it has a built-in shelf bra and an easy, comfortable silhouette that still looks polished. Definitely a midsize-approved staple I’ll be reaching for.
