Small space. Big style. This Upper West Side studio proves you don’t have to sacrifice personality for function. Designed for a grad student living in a compact Upper West Side apartment, every piece in this room works overtime. The trundle bed doubles as a sofa by day and pulls out into a guest bed when friends stay over. The “coffee table” is actually two end tables on wheels that can move out of the way whenever extra space is needed. We chose petite accent chairs with a small footprint, kept the walls, curtains, bedding, and slipcover crisp white, and layered in vintage-inspired art and textures to keep the space feeling light, airy, and collected. This is proof that even the smallest apartment can feel elevated, personal, and highly functional — without giving up style. LTKHome
