1️⃣1️⃣ miles on the treadmill this AM 👟 I’m TRAVELING this weekend to visit a friend so I decided to knock out my long run before my trip 😇…and even though I’m SO glad I did it was a TOUGH day to run outside ❄️Super cold and windy so I decided the treadmill was the way to go 😅 y’all this was SO mentally challenging but proud I got it done. Sometimes I look back at who I was a few years ago and it almost feels like I was a completely different person. 😅 constantly stressed, trapped in a career that wasn’t for me and barely exercising at all. Signing up for one race is what changed EVERYTHING for me and I’m so glad that it did 😭

Through marathon training, setbacks, comebacks, and every mile in between, I became the runner and the person I always hoped I could be. And I am not done growing yet. 💗

If you are rebuilding, returning to running, chasing a first race, or going for a new PR, I hope you know you are not behind. Your journey is allowed to look different. 🥹

DID THAT TODAY 💫🔥 9 easy miles this AM!! ✨🏃🏼‍♀️It’s wild that 9 miles now feels like a shorter long run when only two years ago it was one of my longest runs training for my first half marathon in almost a decade 😭🤯Sometimes I forget how far I’ve come because I’m so focused on the day to day instead of the big picture 💭🫶But today I looked back and realized I ran 3 full minutes per mile faster than my first logged long run of 2024 and I’m honestly shocked 😳📈 That didn’t come from magic or talent. It came from showing up even when motivation wasn’t there and trusting the process when results weren’t instant 💪🏼💗 Cold day today but a warm heart thinking about how far this crazy running journey has taken me already ❄️❤️

Here’s to more mornings where we surprise ourselves simply because we kept going ☝🏻✨
