Anxiety or zone 2 training? 10/10 get this wrong ๐ ok for real up until last year I didnโt understand the benefits of easy running I just ran hard and fast every time I ran ๐ my only exposure to zone 2 HR? Probably during an anxiety spiral ๐ when I first learned the benefits of easy running I paid really CLOSE attention to my HR on my watch while running, almost obsessive ๐ BUT I now measure more by effort for a lot of different reasons (HR monitors on watches arenโt super accurate mostly!!) that mental shift has really helped me let go of the numbers and just enjoy my running, no matter the pace or zone.
