Run the @rungasparilla half marathon with me!! Guys SO MUCH to unpack about this race and my MASSIVE PR 😱 highlights included: 1️⃣feeling strong for the first 7 miles until the sun came out and the humidity caught up to me and my pacing plan that didn’t account for humidity😅😅 2️⃣ taking in gels and salt tabs every 20 mins (6 total gels) to revitalize my energy 3️⃣taking a walk break at mile 10 to regain mental stamina 4️⃣getting a high five from @runmeb at mile 11 when I was struggling (didn’t get a video which I’m so mad about!!) 5️⃣ earning a 4 minute PR in spite of the struggles faced on the course from the humidity.
