Let’s talk fireplace!! 🔥 I’ve been dreaming up this fireplace for years! She’s thick, she’s simple, and she’s cozy. It’s framed in and then finished with drywall, just a super simple, streamlined structure that lets the shape and texture shine. I painted it in Swiss Coffee at 45% (same as the walls), which gives it that soft, creamy warmth that plays so nicely with the rest of our tones. It’s not too white, just that perfect in-between that feels calm and cozy all year round. The mantel might be my favorite thing about this fireplace! It’s a raw-cut 6x6” beam from a local mill. I stained it using my go-to combo: one coat of whitewash followed by one coat of Easy American. That mix gives it this perfectly balanced, creamy-warm tone that ties in with the floors and the other wood accents around the house. It’s the combo I use on everything because it never fails me! 🤌🏼 The insert is electric, which makes it super low-maintenance but still gives you that cozy flicker! And the “art” above the mantel? It’s actually a TV! I love that we can have something functional without sacrificing the look. I’ve had this frame TV for years and it’s still one of my favourite purchases I’ve made! And how cute are those little ghosts?👻 LTKfall LTKsale LTKcanada
