Caramel/sea salt/molasses Ingredients: 2 sticks (1 cup) softened butter 2 cups packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract 2 tsp standard molasses 2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda Roughly chopped milk and dark chocolate Caramel chew pieces Preheat oven to 375° In a large bowl using a whisk - mix together butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and molasses until well combined. Fold in flour, baking soda and salt until a dough forms. Roughly chop chocolate and fold the not the dough. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate 45-60 mins. Using a cookie scoop, place cookie dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake 12-14 mins or until edges are dark brown. When removing from the oven, place caramel candy on top of the hot cookies. You have to let these cookies cool and set completely before removing from tray or they will fall apart!
