Finding personal style is so hard. I’ve been learning it’s this little creative muscle that a lot of us lost as we entered our teens.

The good news is that I think retraining it is totally possible. And if you start with your house, not only will you get practice but you’ll also feel the safest making it a little easier to reconnect with what style defines you.

You can also start with something smaller. Like say a tote bag you deck out. One that’s inspired by your kids key chained backpack and has little nods to what makes you, you! I linked everything I used for mine (&and more to get your creative ideas going!).

Took me 36 years to figure out it was time to romanticize my outdoor space the same way I do my indoor space. And I don’t know about you but every time I step outside I love being transported to Provence.

The littles changes can make the biggest impact to your home. Takes it from amateur hour - like mine was - to sooooo chic.

- Scale of the art matters - and I know art is expensive. I DIYed a lot of the art in this house!
- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, rugs that are too small aren’t the vibe. At a minimum make sure all the furniture legs are on the rug. For that extra cozy vibe, go for all legs on the rug
- pay attention to the scale of your decor. I often see things that are too small making the entire space look odd. A simple fix with the right size piece
