Episode 3 of becoming this girl: the one where I’ve officially decided my “survival hair” era is over.
Not because I need to look perfect.
Not because I’m trying to impress anyone.
But because I’ve noticed something:
When my hair is done, I feel more confident.
More energetic.
More like myself.
So here’s what’s working for me right now —
washing once a week and using heatless curlers at night.
Do I always feel like putting them in? No.
Do I regret it in the morning? Never.
It’s five minutes at night…
and I wake up feeling a little more put together before the day even starts.
Small habit. Big shift. 🤍
If you’ve been in your survival hair era too… this is your sign. You can put your hair together easily as can be.

*I just bought a new heatless curler set and I noticed it took me a week to break them in. It was super frustrating at first but once they were broken in 👌🏼👌🏼

Ignore how tired I look and focus on the prettiest decor finds!!

• Keep it calm: Don’t stray too far from your core colors.

Making a room appear bigger isn’t too tricky. One of the easiest ways you can do it is through curtains.

The caveat being you have to make sure you’re hanging them correctly because if you don’t, you could accidentally make your room look smaller. Ooopsies.

This window isn’t the best example of attaching your curtain rod high to the ceiling as the window itself is quite high - but always go up. As close as you can to the ceiling.

Your rod should also extend wide, past your window. Your curtains should hang covering the wall; not your window unless they are pulled shut. If they cover your window you’re blocking precious natural light and making your room feel too small!

I love the way curtains transform a room and if done correctly, make it look bigger 🔥
