You might have seen my post about Nina and her crazy energy and love for play, but don’t worry Henry gets his share too! 🥰 #Ad My boy is a bit more particular with how he chooses to spend his time! Trying to enjoy my newly decorated tree even though I had to make some improvisations to the decor plan when the garland I wanted was sold out. Overall though I’m proud of how it turned out! 🥰 Now spending the rest of the night waiting for the call that Henry is out of surgery. He had another emergency blocking and since it was so severe so soon after his last visit, the best decision was surgery. So send me all your positive thoughts! Even though I know he’ll be fine I also know I’ll be worried until I hear that he’s made it out of surgery okay. It’s not exactly the same as mine, but it’s also been over 5 years since they carried this style, so I’d expect it to change a bit. Long time no see, friends! So much has been happening lately and I’ve been unfortunately letting my social channels take the hit as I try to figure things out. This post is a bit like a catch-all to let you know what’s been going on with me and why I haven’t been so present here. Let’s start with the big one (at least for me): I 99.9% have ADHD. I haven’t had an official diagnosis yet but I’m practically the poster child for women with ADHD so I’m not concerned I’m going to get a different diagnosis, if anything they’d tack a few more things on! 😂 I joke, but this has been a huge struggle for me this past year of understanding. Yes, year. I’ve been struggling HARD with executive function especially, and that’s essentially the thing that keeps you going when you don’t want to! Hence why you haven’t seen me here very often. Even though I have SO MANY things and photos I want to share with you, my mind fights me every step of the way. The next step of this is obviously getting an official diagnosis and medication to help get things back under my control. So if you see me struggling with consistent posting, it’s not because I don’t love you all, it’s because I just can’t fight my mind that day. Second, I’ve been having a lot of issues with my ADU construction. I won’t bore you with the details, but let’s just say I’ve never been more frustrated in my life. Finally we’re moving forward though and it seems there will be no more (unexpected) hiccups in the plan. Today they just finished demo of the old garage!
