After painting several rooms Benjamin Moore Simply White, here’s what I can tell you: it’s a white that feels bright and clean without ever feeling cold. I love that it has just a touch of warmth so spaces still feel cozy and inviting.

It’s one of those colours that works pretty much anywhere (walls, trim, even cabinets), and pairs beautifully with both warm neutrals and soft muted colours.

Definitely test a good-sized swatch first to make sure this white is perfect for your space. These peel and stick options from @Samplize are so handy! Move around the room and take a look at different times of the day before making your decision. So easy!

Basement bathrooms can be tricky with no natural light, so we mounted two black double sconces above an oversized mirror to really brighten the space. The milk glass shades give off the prettiest glow and feel like vintage globe lamp posts in the best way. Classic, simple, and just enough contrast. I’m also sharing a few similar 2-light sconces if you’re looking for something along the same lines.

This 9-light black chandelier is ideal for vaulted ceilings or large rooms. It’s a budget-friendly option compared to many pricey designer light fixtures I was considering. Add shades to get a custom look for less.
