FINALLY found curly styling products that work for me!
Steps:
Shampoo and condition
Detangle
Curl lotion: Section into two and use about 3 quarter sized dollops of curl lotion
Gel: section by section spray with water (should be soaking) and add gel/define with brush

Diffuse SLOWLY with head flipped on medium heat- start about 6 inches from hair working your way in once it’s about 90% dry! Try not to manipulate too much or it’ll frizz!
(This part took the longest at about 10 minutes)

use oil to break some of the cast!

Sleep in pineapple style and bonnet! Don’t get wet and refresh with oil as needed to break cast and hydrate!
