First time mom’s and mom’s who didn’t know this product existed…This is the most versatile swaddle I’ve found on the market. When swaddling with a blanket they come undone/untucked while sleep sacks ,created with a double zipper, allow for easy diaper changes without removing the swaddle and a safer sleep environment as the sleep sack will stay in place. Believe it or not your newborn has preferences… yes they are a human born with an instinct of what they like and don’t like and their crying will give you cues! My son HATED his arms trapped. We wasted so much money on trying different swaddles that would help soothe him while trying to keep him warm. Needless to say I didn’t find this one until my second baby and have learned so much along the way! Swaddling the arms down prohibit natural refluxes that are apart of development. Self soothing actually is better when you allow them to naturally adjust to their reflex without preventing it from happening. I know this is against the grain but it makes sense once you read up on it. Research is to swaddle or not to swaddle. Also research why you shouldn’t use mittens either my mind was 🤯 on these two topics. Hands can be left open and free in this swaddle which my first son preferred; I wish I had this swaddle when he was a baby. I’m not here to argue the two topics above (just educating on interesting things I’ve learned along the way) but I am here to say no matter where you stand this swaddle IS IT! THE ONE STOP SHOP!
