1. Take your clean lemon 🍋 peels and strawberry 🍓 tops and place them in a pot with filtered water.
2. Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
3. Strain the mixture and enjoy it hot or cold. Or if you’re using a pot like me just pour away and maybe wait so the ice doesn’t melt like mine 🥴😂
4. You don’t need to sweeten at all but you can definitely add a bit of sweetener if you choose 🥰

This is made with simple food and nourishing ingredients. Mango butter, Tallow and Jojoba oil are really the only ingredients you need but I’m a bit extra- I used Jasmine essential oil and I let lavender buds infuse in it.

Lavender can reduce inflammation and even skin tone. It helps with acne, wrinkles, and can help heal wounds.

Mango butter helps to moisturize and protect the skin, and it can help repair it and create a soothing effect. It facilitates the process of getting rid of dirt, toxins and other impurities from the skin.

Tallow contains vitamin A which helps to heal skin issues such as aging, skin irritations, or acne by producing more collagen making cells healthy, and leaving the skin smooth.
Tallow is more compatible with our skin than plant-based products because our cell membranes need fats to be made. Tallow actually helps to repair cells and leave even the most sensitive skin feeling nourished and amazing!

But paper towels are horrible 🥴 I used to use them for everything and with kids there’s definitely a level of convenience.

Here are some things you NEED to know!

First share this with a friend because I know everybody and they mama keep seeing the drain your ground meat with a paper towel hack. 🤮

1. Do you know that fresh food quite often takes on the chemical residue from its surroundings, even in the fridge?

This is a worrying fact if you are using paper towel, particularly if you wrap your food in it, as most paper towels on the market contains toxic chemicals which can compromise our health.

2. The two main chemicals found in most paper towels are Chlorine and Formaldehyde.

If you are using paper towel it could be making the food you are consuming unsafe for you and your family.

3. The chemicals contained in paper towels are carcinogen.

Let’s examine these facts a little more…

Formaldehyde- Exposure to formaldehyde can irritate the skin, eyes, throat, and lungs, and may even lead to cancer with repeated exposure.

Chlorine- Used to make paper towels white, but can also create toxins like dioxin and furans as byproducts. Dioxins are considered a Group 1 carcinogen. The by-products of using Chlorine for bleaching are toxins such as dioxin and furans, some of the most toxic chemicals known to science and they are extremely dangerous to the human body.

BPA and BPS- Just like receipt paper containing BPA and now more commonly BPS5, paper towel has been found to contain very high amounts of Bisphenol A (BPA) even paper towel made from recycled paper. BPA is also a hormone disruptor.
