❤️ Back from a 4-month Instagram break — with a full heart, a fresh perspective, and a new makeup routine to share.

🌎 Earlier this year, we traveled to a “developing” country with our youngest son, staying with locals and living simply. We brought school supplies, sports balls, and open hearts. But it was the small, everyday lessons — like appreciating the basics of food, shelter, and connection — that left the deepest mark.

While most are focused on setting up a tree 🎄 we took this weekend to set up the bed which I’m equally as excited about. 💤

Over two years ago, I spotted this bed after hours (or maybe hours that accumulate to a total of days) 🤦🏼‍♀️ of online searching. It would sell out, then re-stock until finally I wasn’t willing to play that game anymore! For the last handful of months these boxes egged me on. (I was like a kid through the month of December seeing their present but being told they can’t open it till the 25th.) 🎁

Setting it up this weekend gave me so much joy as were one step closer to moving in to our bedroom.
