Who doesn’t love fresh baked chocolate chip cookies?! And that wonderful smell in your home?! Sooo good! I made the cookie batter last night, placed in the fridge overnight, and then baked them this morning. So so good! And I love displaying them in this cake stand- easy to grab AND it makes for a fun decor piece on my kitchen island!

I wanted to share a quarantine project I did a couple months ago. Laundry makeover!! And I’m so mad at myself as I didn’t take a before pic! I hated the room sooo much that I couldn’t even take a pic of it. Trust me, it was AWFUL. 😂 We still have one more item to add to the room- an old fashioned farm sink. We have the sink- just need to get a plumber in here at some point. We wallpapered the room and added concrete looking floor tiles over our gross linoleum! TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday! It’s super quiet around here today, which is very unusual! I spent some time with my little guy at our neighborhood pool earlier today, and now that he’s napping, I’m trying to motivate myself to start some painting projects! I need some motivation!!

Happy Friday friends! I have today off from work because I have the BEST BOSS EVER!! We implemented “Summer Fridays” until after Labor Day which has been AMAZING!

Shelf styling can be very challenging- it’s all about mixing in different heights and textures while trying to stay in the same color scheme. I love how these turned out- what do you think? If you watched my stories the other day, you’ll know about this magic light trick! It’s a hard wired light sconce, but since I can’t actually hard wire it, I used LED puck lights instead by attaching them to the inside of the light with wire. They are battery operated and come with a remote. I just love the look and I thank @nestingwithgrace for sharing this great trick of hers! Brilliant! 🙌🏻 Now to see where else I’d like to add these... 🤔

And... you guys! I just put up this removable burlap wallpaper in this room and I’m really diggin’ it! It makes the room feel bigger and brighter while adding some great texture to the walls!
