Every room was pure magic — from the glowing Yellow Brick Road, to the sparkling Emerald City, the dramatic Wicked Witch’s chamber, and the beautiful rooms inspired by the Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Lion. The Tornado Walkway was such a fun surprise, and the final Ruby Slipper Room absolutely stole the show. ❤️✨
It honestly felt like stepping straight into the story — so Christmassy, so atmospheric, and so beautifully done. 🎄 Going to Castle Howard is one of my favourite Christmas traditions, and this year did not disappoint. We had the most fabulous afternoon exploring all the magical displays.

I’m so pleased with my new dress from @mintvelvet 💫 You all know by now that I’m a huge fan of anything scalloped— not just when it comes to interiors (think cushions, mirrors, lampshades…) but also in fashion, too! There’s just something so feminine and timeless about that soft curved detail.
This Burgundy Scallop Trim Midi Dress couldn’t be more perfect for the season 🍂 The rich burgundy tone feels warm and elegant, and the scallop detailing adds that subtle touch of sophistication I absolutely adore.
The cut is so flattering — it sits just above the wrist to show off the slimmest part of your arm (such a gorgeous detail!) and cinches beautifully at the empire line, just under the bust, creating the most elegant silhouette. AD We certainly get our fair share of interesting storms up here in Yorkshire 🌧️ — one minute it’s sunshine, the next it’s wild winds and rain. But I’m loving being out in my full countryside gear, and today my Penelope Chilvers @penelopechilvers Long Tassel Boots in Conker have been absolute heroes.
These boots are truly built for British weather — beautifully made in Spain with hard-wearing leather, they’re water-resistant, fully lined for comfort, and the iconic tassel detailing gives them that effortless countryside-luxe look. I love that they’re smart enough to wear in town but strong enough to handle muddy paths, riverside walks, and unpredictable weather days in Yorkshire.

I think I’ve found the perfect tailored trousers 👖✨ These ones are from @marksandspencer Marks & Spencer’s and they tick all the boxes: jersey, elasticated waist (woohoo 🙌), available in different colours, and the best bit… they come in different leg lengths!
At 5’2”, it’s always a struggle to find trousers that actually fit without constantly having to get them taken up. M&S really do the best range of lengths in both jeans and trousers, and honestly, it’s such a game-changer.
These trousers sell out fast—lots of colours have already gone (keep watching they will come back) —but the navy blue pair is still in stock (I’ve linked them in stories). I’m so impressed, I’m tempted to buy them in every colour and in different lengths so I’ve got options for different heel heights.
