One of my biggest flexes is having more patience than the typical Certified Professional Organizer. I'm always up for your challenge, but this Elfa update certainly required quite a bit of it. This family of four purchased their new home with existing Elfa systems already installed in several rooms. However, since the material was installed years ago, the top track has been revised TWO times. This version of the hanging standard is no longer available, which I needed for the edits I wanted to make. I also wanted to save them the hassle of purchasing new top tracks and hanging standards...and the costs of having me totally dismantle everything. All we needed was ONE old hanging standard. With patience, we located ONE in the SF store. But then came the edits to the original design...which was designed on the old Container Store software...and let's also not forget, we already had owned quantity to work with. Let's just say I got real cozy for these long phone calls with the main office. Anywayyyyy, let's talk updates! On the main wall I nudged the system down about 4 inches which meant I could add nine drawers and three gliding shoe shelves. You can see the drawers totally clear the door, which swings in. On the left wall I lowered the two hanging sections for little boy sized clothing and added two shelves above. Look at all this space! With room to grow!
