Natural Winter Wellness: My Homemade "Kitchen Apothecary" Cough Syrup 🧅🍯

January is all about resetting and supporting our bodies naturally! 🌿 When the winter sniffles hit my house, I skip the store-bought stuff and head straight to the pantry for this traditional Garlic, Red Onion, and Cinnamon Honey Syrup.
This is a powerhouse remedy: Red onion provides quercetin, garlic offers antimicrobial support, and raw honey is the ultimate throat-soother. I’ve linked all the "Apothecary Essentials" I use to make this, including my favorite amber glass jars and organic Ceylon cinnamon!
The "No-Strain" Recipe:
• 1 Red Onion (chopped)
• 3–4 Garlic Cloves (smashed)
• 2 Cinnamon Sticks * 1 cup Raw Honey (I prefer Buckwheat or Manuka for extra strength!)
How to make it:
1. Place the onion, garlic, and cinnamon in a glass jar.
2. Pour the raw honey over the top until everything is submerged.
3. Important: Leave the onion and garlic in for potency, but remove the cinnamon sticks after 48 hours!
4. Store in the fridge and take 1 tbsp as needed.

Note: Never give honey to infants under 1 year old. Consult a professional for persistent symptoms!
