I paired a soft mushroom-brown knit top with matching kick-flare stretch pants, a denim jacket, and sneakers. The stretch and soft fabrics kept me comfortable all day while working the Houston trunk show.

I’m not usually an all-black girl, but I loved how this look came together. The key to making a monochromatic neutral feel elevated is playing with texture, layers, proportions, and accessories.

The cropped trench adds another layer, the textured midi dress creates dimension, and the mesh shoes bring in an unexpected detail.
