Testing out some new hardware options for our home. I have gone through about 4 different options so far, this being one of them. Of course I would love to go with something from Rejuvenation or comparable but it isn’t in the budget. This option from Home Depot is pretty. I love the backplate. I’ll keep you posted on the other options and what we ultimately choose!

Privacy film solved one problem… but created another.

It worked exactly as intended, but it also hid one of my favorite parts of this room: the view outside.

Café curtains gave us the privacy we needed while bringing back the greenery, the softness, and the connection to the outdoors.

It’s a small change, but one that completely changed the way this space feels.

As a designer, I often find that the best solutions don’t require sacrificing one thing for another. With a little creativity, you can often have both.

Sunny’s bedroom refresh with @Article 💛

For this room, I wanted pieces that felt sweet and playful for this season of childhood, but timeless enough to grow with her. The Leif Platform Storage Bed and Cassie Dresser in Smoked Oak brought in the prettiest warm wood tone, along with so much practical storage for a child’s room.

The Makoa Velvet Headboard in Plush Pacific Green added the softness and color I was craving. I love the curved silhouette, the rich green velvet, and the way it makes the bed feel cozy, custom, and a little more special.

We turned the full size bed sideways and paired it with a king size headboard to create more of a daybed moment, giving her extra floor space to play now and the flexibility to shift the layout as she gets older.

Would I recommend using three furniture dollies, three glass cups, and a tripod to get a laser level high enough for Roman shade installation?
