Spooky Season done right 🎃🍁. We recently decked out one of our favorite houses with some cute (and slightly creepy 🕷️) decorations! Heirloom pumpkins from @theoriginallaflowermarket and @traderjoes, spiders from @michaelsstores and @amazon.

Playroom Transformation ✨🎨🙌🏼 Our clients came to us wanting a playroom refresh for their growing daughters. Out with the baby toys, in with more creative storage and display ideas for craft supplies, toys and more.

We started by removing the couch that was too big and bulky for the space and swapping in some storage shelves from IKEA. We took advantage of the variety of Kallax options to add some drawers and paper trays to the cube shelves.

Then we added a table that fit the space perfectly, leaving ample floor space for play. Next we maximized space in the closet by sorting, categorizing and labeling. Finally, we added a pegboard on the craft wall as a cute spot for the girls to display their artwork and treasures.

We had such a blast tidying up this ad agency’s swag closet and creating the coolest @mustardmade locker solution for their everyday supplies. Streamlined Elfa shelves and open front-bins made the space feel merchandised like a store. We added a packing station to make wrapping up promo packages a breeze, and of course labeled everything.

What’s in your drawers?

There are a million different ways to organize a drawer, but no matter what you’re storing, follow these simple steps to make it work perfectly for you.

1. Don’t store anything you don’t need or want. Just because you own it doesn’t mean you have to keep it.

2. Store items in categories. Keep like items together to make finding them easier.

3. Use containers to divide the space up. This doesn’t have to be fancy! You can use small boxes you may have leftover from gifts, or even make your own little origami masu boxes with leftover paper. We love using a mix of tension dividers and small bins to contain everything.

4. If a category gets overloaded and your drawer won’t close easily, take a few minutes to clean it out. A little bit of maintenance as you go is more efficient than a total overhaul later.
