[JAPAN]
My recent trip to Japan was awesome!
But but but...they’re one of the countries affected by the CONVID-19 and so is Malaysia.
.
Here’s my take about the situation in Tokyo after my visit for a week:
• Japan has invested way too much in their coming #Olympic2020. They will go all out to prevent this matter from getting worse.
• Many touristy places are starting to take a break from tourists to prevent potential spread of the virus ie. @DisneyTokyo, @Teamlab (we were the last batch to visit n it was closed starting 1st March). In a way, it’s better to take the short term losses than worsen the scenario.
• Almost everyone wear masks, including us, in public areas ie. Malls, Trains, Hotels, etc.
• All Japanese wash their hands after using the public toilet, at least those ho were with me when I was using the public toilet. Unlike in Malaysia, when I saw a Beauty Therapist walked straight out without washing her hands after using the toilet 🤮 What happened to personal hygiene??
• There was no buffet at the ANA Business Class Lounge, to prevent using shared ladles & utensils. They even have someone handling the coffee & water machine and they served people with mask & hand gloves on.
.
So I actually found this trip to be very at ease and shopping was a bliss cos there were no lines. We did our best to take good care of ourselves, such as wearing a mask, wash our hands once we were back in our hotel & before we are, take our vitamin C everyday to strengthen our immune system, and overall be vigilant over our whereabouts.
You can be vigilant n sensitive over this CONVID-19 issue, but don’t be paranoid!
