Ever since I left home for college, I questioned the traditionally prescribed path to “happiness”. I looked up the top 10 regrets people have at the end of their life and determined not to have any of them. If the “normal” life was so fulfilling, then why were these regrets so prevalent? Regret 1: Not having the courage to live a life true to yourself To combat this, I am going to serve as my own muse and take these pictures to capture the beauty of my life as I see it now… not concerned with unfulfilled childhood dreams like not being a cheerleader or modeling back in high school (mainly bc of my conservative upbringing). This is about not letting dreams get stuck to a time stamp and thinking about them forever. If I want to learn how to dance I’ll take a hip hop class. if I want to model I’ll take photoshoots. If I want to learn a new skill I will, and I have. Our limitations are self-imposed, and this is a gentle reminder to reframe your limitations into actions you can take now, so that whatever-it-is doesn’t remain on the list of your end-of-life regrets. 🤍 📸 @photosbynevaye Dress @tularosalabel @revolve Shoes @jimmychoo Necklace @bahateeofficials womenempowerment womenempowerment girlpower bossbabe shepersisted womeninstem womenintech womeninspiringwomen sisterhood equality womeninbusiness noregrets inspiration motivation strongwomen womenwholead feminism femininity keystosucess mindset
