Every time I share about our compost tumblers or composting I get a ton of questions about what we put in it to make compost. I keep it super simple - all scraps we use throughout the week from vegetables, fruits, coffee grounds, egg shells, those old bananas my kids said they were going to eat, get thrown in, I add some extra dirt, leaves from my yard and sometimes some shredded newspaper if I remember to buy one at the grocery store 😅 I spin her around every now & then & make sure she stays moist enough (ick! lol) it really doesn’t have to be complicated or hard labor.
