FUN FACTS 🎨 • the city has no cars! since it’s built within canals, everyone gets around by boat. • the streets are super narrow with cobble stones • tourism is taking over Venice and driving our locals. their population has gone from 120,000 to 50,000 in the last XX years • EAT • STAY 🏨 • We stayed at the xxx hotel which was just a short ten minute walk from the train station. True Venetian decor here and in a great central location. THINGS TO DO • ride a gondala. it’s typically $80 (cash only) for a 30 minute ride through the canals. I
