I almost returned this dress. I was in my head. I was focused on what didn’t really matter in the dress. Belly lines. Jiggles. Not so perky girls. Dimples. The list could go on and on. I forgot that I needed to focus on how I was feeling in it. And sometimes showing up on social isn’t easy. You just want to dodge the ugly comments that are most days inescapable. When you’re feeling like a snack and someone tries to make you feel like week old left overs, it knocks you down sometimes. Sometimes you’re just not mentally up for it.
I love the dress, so I said screw it, people can hate it, rip me to shreds, whatever. I feel amazing, I’m just gonna pretend you can’t see what I’m seeing in the mirror. And the amount of comments and DMs that absolutely lifted me up blew me away! Too many to count. I screenshotted them cause they made me smile so big. I always hope you wear whatever the F you want cause someone will always have some opinion. But you don’t need to be invisible for someone else to be comfortable. Curvy bodies deserve to be seen and celebrated! Just the way they are! 🩷
