What’s in my bag… but make it vintage! A new-to-me, old-soul kind of love 💚 Early 2000s nostalgia in bag form and a reminder that the hunt is half the fun. There’s something about vintage Balenciaga… the leather is so soft, so broken-in, and just feels right. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect color, and this green completely won me over. Chef’s kiss. This bag takes me straight back to the Mary-Kate + Ashley, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton era… oversized sunnies, low-rise denim, giant bags stuffed with literally everything. The golden era. Fun full-circle moment: the Balenciaga City was one of my very first luxury bags. The one I saved up for after landing my first job 🥹 I sold it (instant regret), so finding my way back to this era feels extra special. Also worth noting… this iconic Giant hardware era is my favorite Balenciaga chapter ever. Truly peak fashion history. Lately I’ve been way more drawn to vintage pieces, things that feel unique, rare, and lived-in, versus brand new. Anyone else? 🙋🏻♀️ Vintage perks I’ll always stand by: • better leather • real character + patina • unique colors you don’t see anymore • BIG hardware (RIP… they don’t make it like this 😭) • why pay full price when vintage gives you more? Big bags still have my heart. Practical and nostalgic feels like the sweet spot. LTKootd LTKdayinmylife LTKBeauty
