Pretty much the best day ever. Hiked up Diamond Head, ate the best acai bowl, went swimming in the turquoise waters until the sun went down and right now am having a beer with my babe before heading out to dinner. This week is going to pass by way too quick.

I'm happy to report that I've found the best high-waist shorts ever. The are nice and high, super flattering on the bum, perfectly frayed at the bottom and not too tight on the thighs. I've rolled mine up at the bottom but they look just as cute worn down.

Since I'm refusing to give up the shorts, the best solution is to layer on top! The boots help too 💕

Winter here actually feels a lot like spring back home -- super warm in the sunshine, but chilly in the shade. I think I'm getting a bit more used to it now after the initial shock of leaving the heat of Bali. I still miss it though!

Feeling like a whole new woman after being sick with some sort of tropical virus for the last 6 days. It's the second time I've been sick since we started our trip 6 & 1/2 months ago and I'm hoping it's the last time. To be fair, the last one was food poisoning and I have a feeling that if I stay in SEA, chances are I'll get that one again 😂.

I'm glad I mainly packed summer dresses for this trip. They're really all I want to wear. Starting to think of things I might leave in Australia to save space in my suitcase for SE Asia. Don't think I'll be needing jeans or sweaters very often once I'm there.
