If your closet feels full but you have nothing to wear, it’s time for a closet edit or a cleanout.

I’ve helped many friends and customers clean out their closets, and these are the steps I take.

Don’t try to do everything at once; start small and make it simple.

Grab a rolling rack and work in sections. I always start with denim.

Put all your denim on the rack and try each pair on. If it fits, and you wear it, it stays. If it doesn’t fit, you don’t like it, it’s outdated, or it gives you bad feelings, let it go.

Take your time and make good decisions.

Do this for each section of your closet. Stay tuned for part 2-what goes where.
Save and share with a friend who might need a closet edit.

2025 was a meaningful year.
Welcoming a new grandchild, celebrating my daughter‘s wedding, and traveling to Paris, Italy, New York, and California-moments I’ll always be grateful for.
