There are MANY similar options to V. Beard at J. Crew, Jenni Kayne cashmere is easily matched by Quince, and Golden Goose is in a sneaker market where there are tons of fun options. I refuse to shop Veronica Beard (I own 2 items that were on MAJOR sale), Jenni Kayne, and Golden Goose. They aren’t special enough to command those high prices and better alternatives abound.

Let’s break it down:
Veronica Beard has lovely things but you can find items that are so similar for far less. The kitten heel boot, chain link bag, and small clutch are way better priced at J. Crew.

The exception I would make for shopping at Veronica Beard are the Beverly flare jeans. That’s it.

Jenni Kayne is completely unnecessary imo. Why shop cashmere that is SO expensive when you have Quince?

And finally Golden Goose sneakers. So pricey yet the world of sneakers is full of cool and lower priced options. Why spend $500+?

☕️ The trick is to wear layers, so you do not require a large coat. Bulky coats are not ideal for travel as cafés and spaces tend to be tight and storing a bulky coat is problematic.
