A year ago... I told my best friend.. I will have a whole wall of my own tools... a year later.. I have even more than a whole wall.. am I still learning, absolutely... do I have to ask the hubby for help from time to time, absolutely.. no shame.. we all have to start somewhere.. my DIY journey started about a decade ago... with a wreath. We all learn, and progress at different levels, everyone has their own schedules, lives, conflicts... people can get projects done overnight.. some of us take longer(me🙋🏻‍♀️) and that’s okay... remember don’t compare, and don’t get discouraged... you are amazing

Now... first, I didn’t plan to match my wall... but I did 😂 be prepared... I’m going to be showing you all the corners of my new office/craft room!! Starting with the project corner!! Is it just me... or is everyone moving?! I mean it’s probably the best time ever to move... but I’m just over here spending enough money on new windows to take out a second mortgage... why in gods name are windows so expensive?! That’s something they should’ve warned you about before you had to adult on your own... but hey... at least I got to get black windows... in 6 - 10 weeks... so I’ll be sitting here drooling on Pinterest of homes with black windows... until then... here’s a picture of my Valentine’s Day mantel!!!! So... some DIY’s take an hour... like this diy tv frame, that took less than an hour and less then $20 to make... and some DIY’s... that you think are going to be fast and painless... sometimes turn out to be the harder ones... and sometimes... they turn out to be hard... because you spill an entire full can of stain over the floor... so then it takes you four hours to clean the carpet... lesson learned oxiclean and dawn take care of stain in the carpet... and now I’m exhausted but a little wiser...

Well... I have to tell you something... I am the worst returner ever... if I buy something and it needs to be returned...there’s a pretty good chance I’ll forget to return it ... like those gold frames... I’ve had them for about a year now... because... you know the fear or the laziness of returning things... but have no fear.. they finally got a perfect spot... I put together a reel, that I’ll post on the $6 knobs I made to hang them!!🤗❤️
