Full circle moment!!! ✨👉🏻 Every now and then a new jean rolls in and quietly starts selling out. This is how all the cool trends begin, and it’s one of the really exciting things about working in fashion. Last year, I picked up the Mother Bookie jeans at Selfridges in London. Silly, really, because the price was double — but the weather was cooler than I expected, and I just wanted something to wear out for dinner with my cousins.

Fast forward to this spring, when the jean landed at Nordstrom and sold out almost immediately. Now it’s back, and there are also some new versions that have just arrived, including this new twist seam.

And now here I am wearing them again in London just one year later! I had no idea these would become one of the “it” jeans of the moment!

Travel with us to Europe! ✈️🤍 There’s nothing like a fun little mother-daughter trip to Europe to remind you of what truly works when it comes to traveling! 😂

Em and I recently travelled to Mallorca and London, and we definitely learned a few things the hard way on our trip … all our checked luggage was left in Seattle, so we spent the first couple of days with only our travel outfits, pajamas, and l favorite travel day essentials to hold us over!

However the beauty of Mallorca and Hotel Son Net helped carry us through until we were finally reunited with our bags!! I’ve literally never been so excited to see my suitcase!!! 🤩

Learn from us: Always have an AirTag or some other kind of identifier in your luggage. While it doesn’t bring back your luggage any faster, at least you know where it is.

Always pack makeup, pjs, undergarments, change of clothing and a swimsuit in your carry-on bag, then at least you can start your vacation!

And if you have a trip coming up, these are the smart travel essentials we swear by! From the peace of mind an AirTag brings to the absolute necessity of a great carry-on (packed with the right things 😉), these are the little things that make all the difference.

Side note: We absolutely loved Hotel Son Net, which is situated in the mountains about 20 minutes outside of Palma. One of the prettiest places we have ever stayed!!! ✨
