Every now and then a new jean rolls in and quietly starts selling out. This is how all the cool trends begin, and it’s one of the really exciting things about working in fashion. Last year, I picked up the Mother Bookie jeans at Selfridges in London. Silly, really, because the price was double — but the weather was cooler than I expected, and I just wanted something to wear out for dinner with my cousins.

Fast forward to this spring, when the jean landed at Nordstrom and sold out almost immediately. Now it’s back, and there are also some new versions that have just arrived, including this new twist seam.

As for our favorite hotel in New York - you have to stay at Fouquet’s ✨ On all my recent trips, I’ve stayed at the same hotel: Fouquet’s New York. It’s one of my all-time favorites, and that’s saying a LOT!!
