I had a lot of problems with this sink not draining and a plumber told me it was partly the soap. So I’ve tried foaming and it’s been better, but this plastic one was not cutting it. Finally found a nice glass one with a polished metal, foaming top!

This big yellow rose wallpaper feels so cute and vintage in here, it makes me glad I kept the original light and mirror when I redid this bathroom years ago! Paint this cabinet: yay or nay?

With a beautiful new wallpaper, subtly striped window, shade, and watercolor, the black is just feeling like a sore thumb. It went with my previous modern traditional look in here but… Now… I’m pretty sure painting it is the right move, but I am tired. 🤪 Maybe I could get primer tinted to the beadboard color, for the first coat? Do they do it that dark? That would help. And I would change the hardware!

This bathroom deserves a shout out now that it’s basically done (for real this time). Now vs when we moved in in 2018. Blood, sweat, and tears (literally) went into the major reno in 2019 and then the wallpaper and painting the vanity were a piece of cake a couple months ago!! @sandbergwallpaper paper, linked everything else in I could in the app.

Lucy likes to talk about babies and lately has been frequently saying, “Mom. Would it be funny if somebody had 1400 million babies? That’s so many! That eggs wouldn’t fit in the mommy’s tummy!” It’s always 1400 million. 🤷‍♀️😂 For real though, if anyone has tips on brushing and styling an almost 4-year-old‘s hair without all the screaming, I’m all ears.

Almost all of you voted for the plums, and I was totally in that camp too until then one day… I dunno, I changed my mind!
I powered through wallpapering this bathroom yesterday morning and it is my best wallpaper job yet! It is so fun and exciting to walk into this room and see this beautiful pattern and color. This is the Alexandra wallpaper from Sandberg Wallpaper.
I put back a couple pieces of art but I’m not sure, what do you think, I loved all the art in here but now that I have this pattern, I’m not sure if I need it. Should I put more of those vintage frames back?? Being careful with how many holes I poke. (The mirror is not back yet and I’m not finished painting the vanity, and I have a few other changes planned too.)
