My process for painting cabinets:

-Lightly sand all surfaces with 150 grit block sander
-Clean all cabinets (I use KrudKutter)
-Prime cabinets (one coat, apply liberally but doesn’t have to be neat
-Use 4” foam cabinet roller and 2” brush to get in corners and crevices
-Let primer dry then paint. For the first time I used Sherwin Williams Pro Classic oil based paint (tinted to my color of choice) and it finished beautifully!
-Paint cabinets (I did one coat and applied carefully and the finish is flawless).
-Because oil based paint takes 12+ hours to dry I painted back side of doors first, let fully dry and came back next day and painted front side of doors.
