It’s been 2 years of little updates here and there, some of it by choice, but most of it replacing things that have unexpectedly broke or leaked or stopped working. Such as: appliances, our sink, lights etc lol. . I had a full vision to gut the whole thing, change the layout and start from scratch. But the little fixes here and there and the tight space we’re working with, made it make more sense to do the best we could with the layout we were given. So I put on my best DIY hat and painted the cabinets, backsplash, countertops and replaced the hardware. Called in a plumber for the sink & faucet, a few friends to do the lights, and changed out each appliance that died on us and here we are with our completed little DIY kitchen refresh - and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it! 🤩 Probably should’ve chose a better time to tackle this project other than my 3rd trimester, but hey, whatever it takes to motivate you right? 😂 . Happy #Bumpday 🤪 I’m starting to finally look as pregnant as I feel and I swear every day we fall more in love with this sweet baby. 💕 A few updates... ◽️My energy has come back a LITTLE BIT -in spurts- so that’s been a nice of change of pace. ◽️I’ve been able to start working out again, mainly just yoga and walking dogs but it’s progress! Then other days all I want to do is sleep so I’ll take the energy where I can get it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ◽️My nausea is almost completely gone! I’m basically able to eat whatever I want these days so trying to get back on track with my nutrition -while still giving in to cravings of course. 😋 ◽️I don’t miss alcohol/drinking like I thought I would. I wish I could have had a few mimosas on my bday or Christmas but I’m surprised by how much I don’t even want it! ◽️We’ve got a couple big baby items and it’s making things SO real! I’m finding it hard to not look at baby products all day long 😆 ◽️ Only a few more weeks until we get to see baby girl again! We couldn’t be more excited to see her and how much she’s grown since the initial 8 week sonogram. 😍 ◽️We spell checked the word pomegranate way more times than a grown adult should 🙊 I can’t thank y’all enough for the mama advice and sweet messages we’ve received from y’all!
