apparently a tiny ghost painting needed a fancy little frame 👻

little things making home feel a little more put together 🤍

I’ve had this little Hearth & Hand vase for a while and still love it so much. Unfortunately, this exact one isn’t sold anymore, but I found a few similar neutral ceramic vases that give the same look and linked them here.

I filled mine with simple faux white florals + a little lavender and paired it with a neutral table runner and a book I’m currently reading. I love how easy little setups like this are - nothing fancy, just a few pieces that make the dining table feel warmer and a little more finished.

🌿 Looking for natural alternatives to everyday products?

If you’re trying to simplify your routine, reduce unnecessary ingredients, or find more plant-based options, these are some of my favorite swaps for common household and personal care products.

✨ This isn’t about fear, perfection, or avoiding every ingredient. It’s about learning your options and choosing what works best for your family.

Here are a few of my favorite alternatives:

🧴 Instead of Vaseline
• Earth Mama Skin Balm
• Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum
• Burt’s Bees Res-Q Ointment

😴 Instead of kids melatonin
• ChildLife Sleep Essential
• MaryRuth’s Kids Nighttime Gummies (melatonin-free)
• Magnesium support
• Consistent bedtime routines

🩹 Instead of Neosporin
• Medical-grade Manuka Honey
• Green Goo Skin Repair
• CV Skinlabs Rescue + Relief Spray

🌸 Instead of traditional perfume
• Skylar Fragrances
• Essential Oil Rollers
• Herbivore Botanicals Perfume Oils

🦟 Instead of conventional bug spray
• Murphy’s Naturals Lemon Eucalyptus Spray
• Badger Anti-Bug Balm
• Babyganics Natural Insect Repellent

⚠️ A few important reminders:

• Natural doesn’t automatically mean safer.
• Essential oils can still cause irritation.
• Always patch test new products.
• Talk with your healthcare provider before starting supplements for children.
• For infected wounds, serious injuries, or persistent symptoms, seek medical care.

You know your family best. The goal isn’t perfection - it’s making informed choices. 💚

Save this post for later and send it to a friend who’s looking for simple, ingredient-conscious swaps.

What does a homeschool day actually look like?

Real life. Outside time. Bubbles at 10:42am.

You don’t need a strict homeschool schedule to raise curious kids. Play-based learning builds fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and creativity.

If you’re new to homeschooling and feel behind already, this is your sign to slow down.

Homeschool can look like this.

#howtohomeschool #homeschooling101 #homeschoolroutine #homeschoolkindergarten #momlife #faithbasedmotherhood #homeschoolcommunity

#LTKmomlife #LTKSpringSale #LTKKids

Today’s homeschool lesson? Trampoline time.

✔ Gross motor development
✔ Vestibular input
✔ Emotional regulation
✔ Core strength

Homeschool doesn’t have to be sitting at a table. Kids need movement to focus, regulate, and actually retain information.

If you’re building a homeschool schedule, don’t skip the outside time. It matters more than you think.

Ancient Nutrition Greens Powder is hands down the best greens powder I’ve tried. 🙌🏼 If you’ve been searching for a greens powder that doesn’t taste earthy, grassy, or gritty… this is it. The flavor is smooth, slightly sweet, and actually delicious. No grainy texture. No weird aftertaste. Just easy daily nutrition.

Why I love this greens powder:
• Tastes good (which means I’ll actually drink it daily)
• Smooth texture - not chalky or gritty
• Made with organic greens and ancient grains
• Includes probiotics for gut support
• Supports digestion + natural energy
• Easy way to fill nutrient gaps
• Mixes well in water or smoothies
• Great for busy moms who don’t always get enough veggies

If you’re looking for a daily greens powder that supports gut health, energy, and overall wellness without tasting like lawn clippings… this is the one I recommend. 🌿

You don’t need a teaching degree.
You don’t need a perfectly decorated homeschool room.
You don’t need to know everything ahead of time.

You need consistency.
You need patience.
You need to believe you can learn alongside your child.

Homeschooling kindergarten for us looks simple - a workbook, a pencil, and focused time together. That’s it.

If you’re a mom sitting on the fence because you’re scared you’ll “mess it up” - you won’t. Showing up matters more than perfection ever will.

Save this for when doubt creeps in 🤍

Before you panic-buy curriculum or try to recreate public school at home - slow down.

1️⃣ Pick your homeschool style first.
Traditional? Charlotte Mason? Classical? Eclectic? Unschooling?

I personally love Abeka because they’re strong in phonics and cursive, and I prefer a traditional structure. But your family’s personality matters more than what’s trending.

2️⃣ Decide if you want community.
Are you joining a homeschool co-op?
Some are social. Some are academic. Know what you’re signing up for.

3️⃣ Know your state homeschool laws.
Before you spiral - look up your state requirements.

Here in Oklahoma there are no homeschool requirements, but that’s not true everywhere. Always check first.

4️⃣ Build routine before academics.
Kids thrive on rhythm. Especially little ones.

My daughter has ADHD, so we do subject → movement break → subject → brain break. That’s how she learns best.

5️⃣ You do NOT need 60–90 minutes per subject.
For kindergarten, 20–30 minutes per subject is plenty.

Short. Focused. Done.

6️⃣ Focus on core subjects first.
At a young age the most important subjects are:
• Phonics (number one)
• Writing
• Reading
• Numbers

Everything else? Extracurricular.

7️⃣ It’s okay to enjoy it.
You don’t have to do school five days a week.

We do school Monday–Thursday, and Friday is our activity day - gymnastics, horse riding, art, co-op. That counts too.

You don’t need to overcomplicate homeschool.
You need something that works for your family.

If you’re just starting your homeschool journey, save this 🤍
