We’ve always done ‘make your own pizza night,’ but recently amped it up and started making the dough!!!! Sooo good, and so much fun too! We put on some Italian music and go to town on toppings 🍕🌶️ I linked the stainless steel pan and cutter we use + sometimes we roll it out because we aren’t professionals 🤣🫶🏼

DIY Wedding Invitations! These were a LABOR of love, but I am so proud of how they turned out!🥹 They didn’t come without a few hiccups but were so worth it!!!

Details:

I made the invite on Canva from scratch (not a template), using Pinterest for Inspo! My stepdad drew the venue and I just used a digital scanner to upload.

I measured it out to print two 5x7’s on one piece of Cardstock paper, flipped and printed two of the “finer details” on the backside so I would only have one piece.
I created a super faint rectangle border around the frontside on Canva to know where to rip against the deckled edge ruler. I did not use the water pen the ruler came with - the paper was strong enough.

I cut all of the ribbon to the desired length for tying, and before hot gluing the seal to the ribbon I put a thin piece of cardboard in between the ribbon and paper so it wouldn’t stick to the paper. Then just slide the cardboard out.

The envelopes are SO nice. I wanted thicker quality and they were perfect - they also have an adhesive sticker you peel off the flap to seal which makes it so easy.

Most at home printers don’t have white ink, but I really wanted black envelopes, so I found these slightly textured wraparound address labels! They’re so nice. Return address goes where the flap slide is and deliver to will go on the stamp side - If you go to Avery.com, they make awesome templates for easier printing!

Invested in some glass single compartment meal prep containers for AJ and I! We were using plastic and I’ve wanted to make the switch. Love how there’s 10 of the same size - one for each day of the week for 2 people or just extra food storage!

Non-toxic and durable. These should last and be so much nicer to clean too.

Linked most of what I used to make these! Then you’ll need small scissors and pine cones, either from outside or you can get them from craft stores like Joann Fabrics - two 3qt bags or so!
*Plus paint brush and brown paint if you get the white wooden eggs*

I followed the video below for the most part, but I painted my wooden eggs brown at the top (1 inch), started with the champagne glitter on the bottom half of egg, then used a glue gun for the pine cone pieces to make sure they stuck well.

The ribbon bows were a little difficult, but I tied around a water bottle to get the right loop hanging sizes. Message me if you have any questions!

These are the most perfect shaped and well fitting press ons! Now I just put them on the little stands I linked, paint them and cure under the light >> (paint, cure, paint, cure, top clear coat, cure). Then just glue on, file a little and you’re ready to go. Painting on the stands is a game changer because you don’t have to put your hand under the light and you won’t mess up painting on your fingers. It’s so much quicker than what I used to do and looks nicer!
