12 spring things I found at Old Navy!

So many cute looks for teachers or spring, break vacation! Linen blend pants, floral straight leg pants, gauze pants and tops, and basics like double layered tank tops!

Everything comes in more colors or patterns! All of the tops fit true to size – I am in a small. I sized up to a medium in the Playa pants for a looser flow fit. I also felt like the cuffed jeans ran small, I suggest sizing up one size. (Let me know if you have any size questions.)

Spring things I found at Target and where I’d wear them!

Size and fit details: (I'm 5'5" and usually wear a size 4/27 and S for reference.) All of these fit TTS, I'm in my normal size S and 4 in everything.
The short and long blue dresses come in more colors. The long ones will be great for vacation! The pants will work great for travel, errand days or play dates, casual teachers, busy moms, and more! And of course I threw in my favorite comfy pajama pants for loungewear!

Outfits I wore this week in and out of the classroom 🩷

It was nice to have only a 4-day work-week with President’s Day off! It also got a lot cooler here in Arizona, so it was back to sweatshirts and cozy clothes which I love. Spring is coming next week, though with temperatures back near 80°. Hope you had a good week – it was busy in kindergarten once again, but we our less than 60 school days from summer! 😳

Let’s make a sweet, healthy grab-and-go snack together: Protein Ball Energy Bites! 😋

Steps to make them...
First, combine dry ingredients:
1 1/4 c rolled oats
1 T health seeds trilogy (flax, hemp, chia)
1/2 c protein powder (I love vanilla @transparentlabs)

Next, add:
3/4 c peanut butter
1/4 c maple syrup
(May need a little extra if too dry)
Then, warm it all in the microwave for a few seconds until melted and creamy.
Sprinkle in chocolate chips (optional)
Stir together well.

Last, roll up protein balls to the size you like. I made about 20 balls!

Place in fridge for 15-20 mins to firm up.

Makes a great snack for the week (easy to bring to work, too!) esp if you love to go for sweeter snacks like me!

(I’m in a S and it was a little tight.) The hammered gold-button sweater vest fits TTS, I’m in a S. The material has stretch. The ivory denim vest fits a little big, I sized down to an XS. These are my real life teacher outfits I’ve worn this year and last when our weather was unpredictable from mild to chilly! I know a lot of you asked for affordable spring teacher outfits so here are a few I love and wanted to reshare!

Size & fit info: (I am 5’5” for reference and usually wear a size 4/27 and small.)

Yellow Sweater outfit: super cute oversized cardigan to wear open or buttoned, comes in more colors. Fits true to size I’m in a small. The jeans fit her size – limited size sizes left.
Loft button down shirt: I love this oversized fit – very cute with black jeans or white jeans going into spring. I sized down to an extra small. These are my favorite black cropped jeans for work. I sized down, but you could go for your normal size too as they don’t bag out and have great stretchy material.
Amazon barrel-leg overalls: they fit true to size, I’m in a small. (If you have a longer torso, I would recommend sizing up.) They come in more colors and look cute with long or short sleeves or a tank top underneath for the changing seasons.
Amazon puffer vest: many colors to choose from them, fit, true size, and look cute over any of your long sleeve basics.
Amazon pants: these flowy pants have a free people-inspired look. I sized up to a medium for more room in the waist. They come in more cute colors too. I added a denim jacket but pair with short sleeves or a tank top later when it warms up!

This burgundy color is so fun for valentines week and also all summer long for vacation, play dates, coffee stops, errands, or teaching. Pair it with sneakers and a denim jacket while it’s still cold/cool outside. I sized up to a M in these pants for a looser fit in the waist.
