A winter coat you won’t believe is under $60 from Amazon! I love this neutral beige color because it looks so polished and goes with everything. It does come in 15+ colors to choose from, too! I took a size down to wear over my light long sleeves here in AZ, but I suggest getting your normal size if you plan to wear it over sweaters and warmer tops.

These are my real life teacher outfits I’ve worn this week with our Arizona weather being a little chilly! I know a lot of you asked for winter teacher outfits so here is a few I love and wanted to share!

Size & fit info: (1 am 5’5” for reference and usually wear a size 4/27 and small.)
Denim shacket outfit: I am in my normal size S in the denim shirt. I sized down to a 2 from my normal size 4 in the jeans because they have an awesome hugging stretch. They’re my favorite jeans because they don’t bag out.
Amazon pullover + camo pants outfit: I am in my normal size small in both of these pieces. The half-zip pullover comes in a lot of colors and is such a nice, soft fleece!
Button Pullover outfit: I’m in my normal size S in the pullover. It comes in more pretty colors! So cute with leopard shoes. The jeans are stretchy yet hug you and don’t bag out. LOVE them! Get your normal size or size down.

Size info— More colors in everything! I loved everything I tried on for spring- the short sleeve sweater & wide leg jean, new linen-blend pant styles with fun prints and stripes, too!! I’m 5’5” and wear a size 4/27 and small for reference. I’m in my normal size small in the sweater top. The jeans run small IMO and I sized up (they come in different washes, too). I am in my normal size S for the striped and floral linen-blend pants but think I would like them more on me in a size M so they’re a little more flowy. I’d recommend sizing up!

New at Loft: Hearts, Pants and Jeans! 🩷❤️🩷

It was so fun to go in and see what’s new at loft! Lots of cute things for Valentine’s Day per usual. I also got to try on their new jeans. The store had these wide leg pairs and a straight leg pair. I found that they ran big and had to size down one size from my normal size. Their Palmer wide leg pants are always a favorite of mine for work, and they come in such cute colors right now!

I’m 5’5” and wear a size 4/27 and small for reference. I am in my normal size S in the valentines tops. I sized down to an XS in the ribbed top with gold buttons. The Palmer pants both fit TTS, I’m in a 4. The blue and ivory wide leg jeans both ran big, I sized down one size.

These are my real life teacher outfits I’ve worn last year and this year when our weather finally got chilly! I know a lot of you asked for winter teacher outfits so here is a few I love and wanted to reshare!

Size & fit info: (1 am 5’5” for reference and usually wear a
size 4/27 and small.)

Tunic Sweater outfit: I am in my normal size S in the color “nutmeg”. Some colors are on deal for around $25! I’m in my normal size S in the faux leather leggings.
Blazer Vest outfit: I sized down one size in the vest and am in my normal size 4/27 on the slim flare jeans (this year’s black slim flares don’t have the pin tuck down the front). LOVE this dressier outfit for work!
Denim Shirt outfit: if you’ve been here awhile you know a denim shirt has been such a closet staple for me! I highly recommend the for teachers! Target brought this one back, yay! I love it with stripes and skinny jeans.
Fleece Vest outfit: everything fits TTS. I love the side ties and Free People inspo of this vest! More colors! The soft ribbed top is a great winter closet staple.
Button Pullover outfit: I’m in my normal size S in the pullover. It comes in more pretty colors! So cute with leopard shoes. The jeans are stretchy yet hug you and don’t bag out. LOVE them! Get your normal size or size down.

On the hunt for cute teacher sneakers! I went in the store and immediately was drawn Puma sneakers and Adidas sneakers and wondering which is your favorite? I’m having such a hard time making a decision! I want a fun pop of color but know I wear my white ones so much because they’re neutral.

Bow pants for the first day back to work in January! 🎀

Just a teacher who wanted to be in her loungewear on the couch but put on “semi-real” pants today and went to work. 😆 I’M SOOOO TIRED after our Monday back guys!! Plus did you drive to work with a full moon staring at you too?! 😳 The energy level today was 110 mph just GO GO GO! I didn’t realize how comfy (and lazy) l’ve felt being a stay at home dog mom for 2 weeks in my pjs. 😂 Missing my couch and my own schedule but of course was happy to see my students and be back in my kindergarten classroom today! I just miss all the peace and quiet of home, and am thankful for all of that time I had to recharge… now to go to bed early tonight😅

Here comes Monday! 🫣😆 Snacks I have on hand as a busy teacher to help me reach my protein goal! 💪🏼

My lunch is typically a healthy bowl I portion out and meal prep for the week or one of 2 things unless I have leftovers: 2 taco-seasoned turkey burgers with riced cauliflower or lettuce OR a cup of shredded chicken with taco seasoning, a sprinkle of cheese & lettuce, no dressing. (Yes I love taco anything and everything.

These snacks are what I choose from to fill in protein I need outside of my meals in a day. I don't eat ALL of these snacks every day, but when I'm adding up my macros, I pick which ones sound good and how much PROTEIN I need to hit my goal outside of my meals. Right now my goal is 130g of protein and I try to hit 30-40g per meal.

(BTW, I'm not an expert! I am just sharing what has been helping me as a busy 41 year old teacher who lifts weights 3xs a week! I track everything/keep a food diary in the @carbondietcoach app and that helps me so much! Obviously lean meats like fish, chicken, and turkey will help the most with high, healthy protein intake!)

1. Summer favs: I’m in a S in the skirt skort and the brown short sleeve sweater top.
2. Top Shoes: the Birkenstock sandals fit true to size.
3. Top favs for back to school: I am in my normal size small in the dress and sized up to a M in the skirt so the waist band didn’t feel so tight.
4. Hair favs! Love the brushable hair spray, InCommon magic mist (use code TEACHERFASHIONISTA), Living Proof dry shampoo, T3 curling iron 1.25”, and aquage oil!
5. Top Gym fav: don’t get me wrong I love Lululemon, but I need affordable leggings and these Amazon squat proof leggings are great! I own about 8 pairs (black, navy, and olive) and wash like normal/lay flat to dry.
6. Top teacher pants: I sized up in both of these. (Amazon: size M/Loft: size 6 even tho my normal size 4 fit nice, 6 just felt more comfy!)
7. Top teacher jeans: I have raved about these jeans for 3 years now! Worth every penny. I was able to size down in these but think your normal size would fit great too! They have a stretchy yet hugging fabric so don’t bag out!!
8. Top closet basics: double-lined shirts in short and long sleeve! I get these in my normal size S. They are meant to fit tight, so if you don’t like that as much, size up. Great base layer under vests and jackets, or on their own!
9. Most loved classroom look: camo pants (fit TTS, I’m in a S) and denim shirt— most worn teacher item😍
10. Top fall-winter pieces: mesh top (more colors) fits TTs, I’m in a S. I wore a nude bralette underneath. Hooded vest from Walmart fits so cute! I’m in my normal size S.

Size and fit details: (I’m 5’5” and usually wear a size 4/27, S for reference.) This lounge set has a smooth, comfy material perfect for sitting cozy on the couch after work, lounging around on a weekend while still wanting to look cute/put together, or travel (I’ve worn it on a few flights to MN and Iowa in the fall and winter with sneakers!). My new hiking shoes! Shopped with my gift card at the outlets and am so happy with what I found! I got the Merrell Agility Peak 5 Trail-Running Shoe in “Pink Salt” and went up a 1/2 size per the recommendation from the associate working in the store. So excited to hike in these in 2026!
