there are a whopping t h r e e items of clothes that i am willing to swap out a sweatshirt for...
and i would argue that when it’s cold, they are perfect staples for any occasion.

right now my 12 year old self would hate me for saying this, but number one HAS to be a turtle neck. wear it on its own, under a button down, under a blazer — under a button down & a blazer — under a slip dress, with a midi-skirt...

it’s the most practical way to get tons of wear out of your summer staples in the winter, when layering is king. i prefer to have an oversized sweater-ish option, and a ribbed (fitted) option. black & tan are my go-to’s, but I love a cream color too.

it’s super breathable linen, so it’s cool ✔️
AND they have a cotton version just in case ✔️
the comforter is just a tinge darker for the perfect color-on-color contrast ✔️
