Ya, so… I’ve spent like years thinking this was way more complicated than it is. I mean, not that I’ve spent a creepy amount of time thinking about tortilla bowls or anything. 🤣 It just has never occurred to me I could actually make one. Turns out it’s really simple. This was my first time trying it. I looked up a few tutorials prior and many seemed to use an oven safe bowl, oil the tortilla, wrap it in foil, and bake the whole setup. But I didn’t feel like heating up bowls or washing them after (I think we all know me by now), so I just used a bowl as a guide, shaped a foil mold, and then pressed the tortilla inside the foil bowl to form it. Worked great. No cleanup. TSG approved. Also, serving food in a tortilla bowl looks so legit! An easy little thing to do to spruce it up a notch! Cute for taco salad, a burrito bowl, a breakfast scramble or even an ice cream sundae!
