New in and I’m already obsessed 🤎

Picked up these @adidasoriginals wide-leg track pants in leopard print and they are such a fun way to bring a bit of edge into everyday outfits. You know I love a good animal print, and this feels fresh, modern and a little unexpected in a sporty silhouette.

This is exactly my kind of high–low styling piece, relaxed, comfortable and easy to wear, but with enough personality to elevate even the simplest look.

This Glassons try on was all about jackets, and these were my winners!

The standout was the cropped trench with a high funnel neck. Such a modern take on a classic and perfect for layering into autumn. The neckline alone makes it feel elevated and directional.

I also tried two faux leather bomber jackets, easy, cool and the kind of piece that instantly adds edge to any outfit. Throw it over denim, tailoring or dresses and you’re done.

And then… the brown pinstripe funnel neck bomber. This one is so good. Tailoring meets casual with that structured feel but still relaxed enough for everyday wear. Definitely one of those pieces that gives you that “cool without trying” vibe.

These are the kind of outerwear pieces that make getting dressed easy, strong shapes, great textures and instant outfit makers.

How to add edge to neutrals 🖤

On paper this outfit is all classic pieces - black skirt, khaki shirt, beige trench and a khaki suede bag. Clean, timeless, easy.

But the edge comes from the details.

The skirt is faux leather instead of a basic fabric, the shirt is sheer which adds that subtle hint of texture and contrast, and the pointed flats in snake print bring in just enough pattern to stop it feeling flat.

This is always my approach to neutral outfits, keep the colour palette simple, then play with texture, fabric and unexpected elements to make it feel modern and elevated.

Neutrals don’t have to mean boring… it’s all in the styling.

The satin skirt is one of those pieces that works far beyond evening wear. Styled the right way, it becomes a modern, elevated staple that moves easily between casual and polished looks.

LOOK 1.
A full tonal moment in chocolate brown. The brown satin skirt with lace trim layered with a brown cotton knit jumper and finished with suede kitten heels. Texture on texture makes tonal dressing feel rich and interesting rather than flat.

Autumn outfit inspo now that we are officially in my favourite season 🤎

I started with white barrel jeans for that modern, slightly structured silhouette, then layered a long brown lace slip underneath a brown cotton knit so the satin and lace still peek through. Soft meets strong - feminine textures styled in a way that still feels grown up and a little edgy.

Texture on texture instantly elevates a simple knit and denim combo, and the visible lace gives it that subtle undone vibe I love.

Finished with brown suede closed-toe kitten heels to keep it polished, plus a gold necklace and a chunky gold cuff worn over the sleeve for that unexpected edge. It’s those small styling details that take an outfit from basic to intentional.

The sun was out and I was in the city to meet a friend for the Diva exhibition at the arts centre followed by a long, leisurely lunch. The perfect excuse for a fun summer outfit ☀️

I leaned into summer dressing with white sequin shorts for a little sparkle, paired with a pop of orange on top to keep things bright and playful. The beaded bag was an obvious choice, it just screams summer and adds texture and personality to the look.

Office day again and a hot one ☀️ so I’m breaking out my Bermuda shorts and happily outfit repeating this combo because I love it that much.

The oversized pink and orange striped shirt is doing all the work here, the colour and print clash feels fun but still work-appropriate, which is exactly the balance I’m always aiming for with office outfits in warmer weather.
