My 4 year old I in that phase where she is very independent, except that she’s not 🤪

And I’m in tha phase where I cat reasonably chase around a 4 year old AND an almost 2 year old well…anywhere but especially play places and playgrounds!

Letting her take the walkie talkie was the perfect balance of giving her independence and giving me peace of mind 💕

Just getting them outside usually isn’t enough to combat the witching hour grumpies (for all of us). This little method has kept them contained and entertained and given me that extra pep to get though to bedtime 💤
