Yes, we gave up TWO cabinets for this kitchen update... and I'd do it again. Widening the opening of our pantry with bifold doors allows us to easily access the pantry, even while someone sits at the island. Losing cabinet space to relocate the microwave was a difficult decision but one we are happy we made. We like having a microwave and wanted it to feel cohesive with the rest of our existing appliances. We broke the 'more cabinets is always better' rule when we removed cabinets to accommodate this hood range. Controversial but worth it! LTKHome LTKSaleAlert
