Our old blinds were super dated and quite frankly a hazard! This space feels fresh and new! Designer vibes without the designer price tag.

We choose the Blanche cotton blend linen look Roman shades with a white cotton lining with an inside mount. I still wanted some light to come through but you can choose a variety of backings for your specific needs.

The motorized function works smoothly and perfect for those evenings when you want privacy but don’t want to get off the couch 🤭

We created the look of built-in cabinetry, added wall trim for that extra custom detail, and gave our drinks their own home….freeing up space in the main refrigerator just in time for holiday entertaining. 🥂

And the best part? It’s a doable weekend project that won’t break the bank!

This cabinetry is a 6 piece set, we used 5 pieces and will use another one of the lower middle cabinets in a different area of the house. Makes for a perfect night table, bar cabinet or extra place to display your momentos!

We added a piece of wood, that we cut down to size, and had Lowe’s paint department color match our cabinetry by bringing in a shelf as a sample. It was the perfect addition to bring the middle cabinet and two beverage refrigerators together and appear as one unit.

I downloaded art, printed an adhesive poster and placed it over my mirror. It’s removable so I don’t have to worry about damage.

I did use a credit card to smooth out bubbles while applying. My art happened to be slightly larger than my mirror so I measured and cut it down. Making sure I choose a print that I wouldn’t disrupt if I cut it down.

If you use a larger insert your throw pillows will look fuller and fluffier. I used a 24x24 feather insert for my 22x22 pillow cover.

That’s my trick to fuller looking throw pillows. I do it whenever possible.
