Yoon Se-ri’s office, but make it ZZ (Crash Landing on You reference)🌿💼 why does this look like a photo from a K-drama 😂 Anyway, the ZZ plant drama has officially come to a close (swipe for the full story time), so here is me and my ZZ army that is commandeered by my lil goth Raven ZZ 🌿🌿🌿

Honestly though - if you’re thinking about getting a plant for the first time, ZZ plants are one of the easiest plants you can take care of and it likely won’t die on you if you water it no more than 1x a month (maybe 2x during summer)! They tolerate low light so they can be used in lots of different spaces, and they aren’t expensive plants (they’re around $20-ish for a standard 6-inch pot). You can find them at almost every nursery.

Plants are one of the cheapest ways to add life, color, and decor to your home without splurging - I’d rather buy a large bird of paradise or a fiddle leaf fig over an expensive statue or decorative piece. Do your research and check out some easy-to-take-care-of plants that you can decorate your space with on a budget - but maybe don’t get carried away and buy 7373716382 plants at the same time like I did 😅

I bought myself a new punching bag as an early birthday present to myself and it finally came in! 🥊🥊 some people have been cheffing, gardening, or getting super buff during this pandemic... I’ve just been sleeping a lot and packing on the pounds because I’ve just been so chronically fatigued 😅 that said, I’m a few months late but I’m finally ready to join the shelter-in-place fitness train again! This is definitely going to test my ability to tolerate pain and discomfort because cardio anything will force my blood vessels to constrict nowadays, but I gotta get moving again!

Here’s an update of our family room along with a before/after (swipe!)! This room has come such a long way (and still has a ways to go). It doesn’t even feel like the same space we moved into 7 months ago. Just goes to show what careful planning and some paint can do! I can’t wait to get started on the wood flooring and planked ceilings 😍😍 can you imagine?!

Master bedroom update with new paint and picture frames! 👉👉 Swipe to go back in time before paint, and also when the previous owner had our home for sale. Such a difference 😮
The next things to do besides get new bedside tables, bedside mirrors and a dresser is:
✂️ Cut and hem the curtains
🍿 Remove popcorn texture from the ceiling
🎨 Paint the ceilings white
👑 Add crown molding and baseboards
🧱 Replace carpet with black wood look plank tiles
In any case, this is the most finished room in my home at the moment and I’m happy to share it ❤️❤️❤️
