It’s just not fair….😂 Today I ran into an acquaintance at Trader Joe’s and we caught up for a few minutes. She said “I really need your help. I have a drawer full of makeup and nothing looks good on me….” I hear this all the time. We all have that makeup graveyard. The drawer in our bathroom where makeup and skincare products go to die!!!! I talk about this a lot here on Instagram and with my clients! So here goes… ❌ Do NOT go shopping without a list ❌ Do NOT buy any makeup or skincare products that looked good/worked on on your friends. ❌ Do NOT walk into an Ulta or Sephora and buy what looks pretty or is currently trending on TIKTOK. ✅YOU NEED A PLAN! I say this all the time, most often, when we go makeup shopping, we purchase things that we are visually attracted to and that look pretty on display, like the eye shadow palette with 20 different shades or the sparkly pink blush! Whereas, we ignore the true workhorses that will ACTUALLY help to make you look like the best version of yourself, ie. like a good primer or the perfect foundation! We skip over those because they are BORING to purchase and not a lot of fun, by they are what you truly need to help you looking and feeling our best!
